The case discusses the mega merger of world's third largest brewer - Belgium based Interbrew with the world's fifth largest brewer - Brazil based AmBev, creating the largest brewery in the world in terms of volumes produced. After giving a brief note on the two companies, the case discusses the rationale for the merger and the benefits which the two companies were expecting from it.
